DESCRIPTION:Basic* CPR for Bystanders   \n\n\n\nLives can be saved when minutes\, even seconds count  \n\n \n\nWaiting for the medics and ambulances take away those precious seconds.  \n\n\n\n \n\nYOU can help\, as a bystander\, should someone stop breathing or their heart stops beating.  Bystander CPR can make the difference in life or death.  Learn the actions you can do to save a life!\n\n \n\nWe heard Dr. Rumalla's moving story at the May 31 Chamber luncheon\, and we have set up a special presentation to give you\, the Southlake community\, an opportunity to learn Bystander CPR and Awareness.\n\n \n\nJeff Hill\, whose own life was saved at the age of 2 via CPR from a family member\, is a former fire fighter and EMT\, whose mission is to share the knowledge and to save more lives. He will deliver this presentation\, covering the basic emergency steps to be done until the medical professionals arrive. \n\n \n\n*NOTE: This is not a certification class (that's another 3 hour class!).\n\nIf there is enough interest\, we will schedule a certification class through the Southlake DPS.\n\n \n\n\n\nPlease join us for this Special Event --- it truly could be a matter of Life or Death!
